More Phone Numbers on the Help and Support Page
The Cheltenham help and support page now lists power cut, flooding, water emergency, mental health, domestic abuse and local advice numbers.
Cheltenham Open Data has added more numbers to the help and support page, so the ones people need in a hurry are in one place.
The main list of useful phone numbers now includes:
- 999 for emergencies and NHS 111 for urgent medical help that isn’t a 999 emergency
- 105 to report a power cut
- Floodline and the Environment Agency incident hotline for flooding
- Severn Trent’s 24-hour water emergency line
- Cheltenham Borough Council’s customer services
Three out-of-date numbers have been removed: NHS Direct, an old emergency dental helpline and an old electricity number. NHS 111 and 105 replace them.
There are also three new sections: mental health and wellbeing (Samaritans, Shout and Mind), the National Domestic Abuse Helpline, and money and housing advice from North and West Gloucestershire Citizens Advice.
