Where Does This Data Come From?

  • Ofcom's Connected Nations programme, which publishes fixed broadband coverage for every UK postcode. Ofcom refreshes it roughly twice a year.

Is This the Speed I'll Actually Get?

  • No — it shows what's available to order, not guaranteed speeds. Your real speed depends on your provider, package, and the line to your home.

What Do the Ward Figures Represent?

  • We take every postcode in GL50–GL54, match it to its ward, and average the results, so each ward shows one representative value. A mostly-fast ward can still contain individual streets that lag behind.

Why Show Wards Instead of Postcodes?
