Cheltenham Open Data now offers free data widgets: small boxes of local figures that anyone can put on their own site by copying a short piece of code.

There are four to start with. House prices shows the median price of homes sold in Cheltenham over the last 12 months, with the number of sales and new builds. Rents shows the average private rent and what one to four bedroom homes cost. Affordability shows how many homes sold for 4.5 times typical full-time pay or less. Cheapest fuel shows the lowest unleaded and diesel prices within 20 miles, updated every hour.

Each widget updates itself whenever new figures are published, so the numbers on your page never go out of date. They work in WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and any other site that lets you add HTML, and they can match a light or dark design.
