FAQs
How many petrol stations does the page cover?
- The page tracks 116 forecourts within a 20-mile radius of Cheltenham town centre, covering Gloucester, Tewkesbury and the wider Gloucestershire area.
Which fuels can I compare?
- Unleaded, super unleaded, diesel and premium diesel, where forecourts report them. The cheapest price in each fuel column is highlighted, and you can sort by any fuel, by distance, or by when a price was last updated.
Where does the fuel data come from?
- Prices come from the GOV.UK fuel price scheme, under which retailers publish their pump prices as open data licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
How often is it updated?
- The list is refreshed daily. Prices can change at any time, so treat them as a guide and check the forecourt’s own display before filling up.
What’s new in this update?
- An interactive map of every forecourt, a distance-from-Cheltenham column, postcodes, cheapest-per-fuel highlighting and cleaner station naming. Forecourts that haven’t reported a price recently are flagged, so you can see how fresh each figure is.
