Cheltenham Open Data has added a mobile phone coverage page, a companion to the broadband coverage page.
It covers every generation of mobile network from 2G through to 5G Standalone, broken down by whether you’re indoors, outdoors, or just somewhere in the local area — plus a table showing how much of Cheltenham has a genuine choice of all four networks (EE, O2, Three and Vodafone), not just one.
Unlike the broadband page, this one isn’t mapped ward by ward. Ofcom only publishes mobile coverage data down to constituency level, so every figure is a single average for the whole of Cheltenham — see the FAQs on the page for why.
